The skills your team actually needs.
Baran offers free, mentor-led programs in IT, design, AI, and digital security — for NGO staff, community workers, and anyone doing meaningful work on a tight budget.
Apply Now Apply NowPractical training, no strings attached
Small NGOs and community groups rarely get access to good technical training. We exist to change that. Our programs cover everything from designing interfaces to managing projects, staying secure online, and using AI tools sensibly. You do not need experience — just the motivation to learn.

Apply
Fill in a short form. No CV, no portfolio, no prior experience required — just tell us a bit about yourself and what you want to learn.
Join a small cohort
You will be placed in a group of 10 to 15 people with a dedicated mentor. Sessions are part-time, so you can keep up with your regular work.
Finish with something real
Every program ends with a project you build yourself — a design, a plan, a workflow, something concrete. You leave with a skill and proof that you used it.
From design to security — under one roof
We teach across four areas: interface design, IT and digital tools, AI for everyday work, and online security. Tools like Figma, common AI assistants, and project management platforms are part of the curriculum — but the goal is always understanding, not just tool familiarity.

Free, always.
Every Baran program is free. No tuition, no hidden costs. We are a registered non-profit in the Netherlands, funded by grants and run by people who do this work voluntarily.
Built around what NGOs actually need.
We do not teach abstract theory. Our curriculum covers design, project management, digital security, and AI tools — the things a small team needs to run well and stay safe.
Small groups. Honest mentorship.
Cohorts are kept small so every participant gets real feedback, not just slides and quizzes. Your mentor knows your name and your project.
